Privacy policy

WardrobeVerdict is operated by a sole proprietorship registered in Poland ([legal entity details]). This page explains what we collect, why, and what we never do with it. Last updated August 2026.

What we collect today

The color quiz runs entirely in your browser. Your answers, vein color, jewelry preference, tanning pattern, and so on, are stored in your browser's local storage and never sent to a server unless you choose to save your result.

If you enter your email to save your result, we store your email address, your season, and how confident the quiz was in that result. That data lives in our database (Convex, hosted in the EU, eu-west-1). We use it to send you your palette and, if you opt in, a small number of follow-up emails about your result.

We do not run ads on this site. We do not currently run analytics. We may add privacy-respecting product analytics later, tools that count visits and clicks without building an ad profile of you, and we will update this page first if we do.

What we'll collect for the paid closet verdict

The paid plan (Core or Premium) asks for more: photos of your closet, your sizes, and free-text notes on what bothers you about how things fit now. A person reviews every plan before it reaches you, nothing goes out unreviewed.

Your closet photos are used only to produce your verdict plan. We don't use them for anything else, and we don't sell or share them. You can ask us to delete your photos at any time. Our current default is to delete photos [proposed: 90 days after your plan is delivered — confirm].

Payment runs through Stripe. We never see or store your card number, Stripe handles that directly.

What we never do

  • We never sell your data.
  • We never use your photos for anything other than your own plan.
  • We never charge you without a clear checkout step.
  • We never gate your free quiz result behind an email, it's optional.

Your rights

Because we operate in the EU, GDPR applies. For the paid plan, we process your data under contract, to deliver what you bought. For the free email capture, we process it under your consent, given when you submit the form.

You can ask us to:

  • See what we hold about you.
  • Correct anything that's wrong.
  • Delete your data, including closet photos.
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent for emails at any time (every email has an unsubscribe link).

To do any of this, email us at [contact email].

Who else sees your data

We use a small number of processors to run WardrobeVerdict: Vercel (hosting), Convex (database, EU region), Stripe (payment), and an email service provider ([ESP — TBD]) for the emails you opt into. Each only sees what it needs to do its job.

Questions

If any of this is unclear, email [contact email]and we'll answer directly.
